I was assigned to create an illustration with a certain brand. I picked “Burton”, a known snowboard company that produces mostly snowboard gear and accessories. Since I like Burton and follow them a bit I created a “Rasta” snowboard design. The reasoning behind a “Rasta” design is because of me. I have loved and follow reggae music since I could remember and to this day it moves and helps me. To pay tribute to Burton and “Rasta” I create a nostalgic rasta snowboard.
Here I displayed my illustration to show how it looks on a real board of snowboarder taking a break.
In Burton’s history they have produced a number of logos throughout the years. Since there were so many I decided to put them all together. I wanted to showcase just how many unique and detailed logos there were. The end product was all of the logos wraped around the front and back of the board, paired with my vector doodles I have made in the past.
