This ticket is the recreation of the Ford Theatre ticket on the night of Abraham Lincoln's death in the Ford Theatre.
This is the original Ford Theatre ticket used in the time.
What I imagined was this ticket belonging to Abraham Lincoln. He would give the ticket to the person to stamp it then as he takes his seat he puts his ticket away. But not long after he was assassinated, which created the blood stain on his ticket.
These are also ticket from that time. I wanted to capture that sense of old paper, the wear and tear. The look and feel of the paper, which helps bring the ticket together.
